First, clean debris and dust from the equipment surface. Check that the support legs can be flexibly deployed and locked securely, and check the non-slip surface for cracks, wear, or other damage. Test the emergency stop and overload protection devices to ensure proper function. Also, inspect the work area to ensure the ground is flat and solid, free of potholes, accumulated water, or obstacles. Guide the truck to a position aligned with the platform, and remind the truck driver to apply the parking brake to secure the vehicle.
Connect the equipment to the power supply, turn on the control switch, and perform a no-load commissioning test. Operate the control buttons to test the platform's lifting function, observing whether the lifting process is smooth and any abnormalities such as lags or noises. Slowly adjust the platform's height according to the truck bed height, ensuring it is flush with the bed floor to avoid significant height differences that may affect loading and unloading. Test the platform's edge cushioning to ensure it effectively mitigates impact during docking and ensures that all operating components are responsive.
Guide forklifts, trolleys, and other handling equipment, as well as operators, onto the platform to ensure that cargo is evenly distributed in the center of the platform. Avoid overloading or platform tilt due to accumulation on one side. During loading and unloading, do not stand on the edge of the platform or lean over to prevent falls. Monitor the equipment's operating status at all times. If you notice any shaking, unusual noises, or operational malfunctions, immediately press the emergency stop button and investigate the issue before continuing.
After all cargo is loaded and unloaded, slowly lower the platform to its lowest position, retract the support legs, and secure the locking mechanism. Disconnect the power to the equipment, turn off the main control switch, and clean the platform from any cargo debris, dust, or other debris. Re-inspect the support legs, non-slip surface, and operating buttons to ensure they are intact. Record the equipment's status after each operation to ensure it is safe and reliable before the next use.
